About this deal

There are a number of tutorials, like the one below, available on Youtube to help if you want to have a virtual toolbox talk before you start. The premium acrylic add on contains embedded studs to firmly hold your Minifigures on the right hand side and LEGO® information plaque to the left of the ship.

The premium acrylic add on contains embedded studs to firmly hold your Minifigures and LEGO® information plaque in place in front of the vehicle.

Minimal parts are used while maintaining a well balanced and steady structure. The stand could even be used as handles if you want to “fly” the sets around. Because of the lowered slope, you can still open the falcon, and most play features are easy to access including the cannon underneath.

Two plates will connect the left side and the right side and give the stand its rigidity. The image below also shows the separate minifig stand, which fits nicely into the main stand. No matter how much advance groundwork you have done, the fitting is a bit of a struggle so be prepared to accept the reality that some re-assembly of the UCS Millennium Falcon will be required. Having the instructions to hand at the end of the build will take the stress out of any final touch-ups.Okay, so both stands are very nice products, but what about the price?! Of course, as an owner of this great set you will probably be interested in a quality stand, but will it break the bank? Well, it doesn't...in my humble opinion.

I won't grade this stand, but I will simply tell you that this stand receives two big thumbs up!! You get a quality stand with a cool minifig add-on. Michael explains that when the first UCS Millennium Falcon (10179) was released in 2007 "was too expensive for me at his release" but when the recent incarnation came out he saved up and treated himself. After completing the build he realised "it is a huge thing and hard to display without a special acrylic box or table", so he decided that to put his Technic design and building skill to good use. The two sides below show the angle at which the model will be positioned. The angle is roughly 60 degrees. Here you can see an image of the baseplate, with a very cool engraving of the Millennium Falcon. I like little details like these. Showcase and enhance your iconic LEGO® Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon with our bespoke display stand.Angled at a 70 degree angle, you can display your LEGO® Millennium Falcon in tighter spaces whilst also being able to appreciate the wonderful details across the top of the ship.
