About this deal

Only one of the included attachments is designed for cleaning up hair. The rest are normal Henry attachments. Only one of the included attachments is designed for cleaning up hair. The rest are normal Henry attachments. The cherry on top is that it is an energy class A. Plus the Airobrush and the extra attachment for hard floors. That’s a difficult question, as the best Henry Hoover depends on your requirements. For everyday vacuuming, we still think the standard Henry is the best choice. It’s powerful, has a huge capacity and is now much more energy efficient. The exception is if you have pets. In this case, the Harry is a great choice due to its active charcoal filter and pet tool. Older versions of Hetty came with a green switch for controlling suction power, giving you the option of either high or low power. But due to restrictions on the motor power of vacuum cleaners first introduced by the EU in 2014, Numatic heavily reduced the motor power that the new Hetty model has, which has resulted in the newer versions of Hetty no longer having a suction control switch. Instead there is just a simple on off switch.

British manufacturer Numatic International has expanded the Henry Hoover range over the years to provide their first vacuum cleaner with some much needed company. There’s now fourteen different products in the Henry range, including a number of different Henry Hoover names which make up the Henry Hoover family. There’s Hetty, who’s also known as the female Henry Hoover, as well as James, Harry, George and Charles, the latter two which are wet and dry vacuums. litres dry dust bin capacity, which is a huge amount of space. Wet, the Charles holds 9 litres. An easy-to-operate switch goes between the two.Harry has a large bag capacity but many similarities to Henry, he’s just got some extra pet tools that makes him an option if you have furry friends in your home. Henry is available in red, blue, green and yellow if you buy direct from the manufacturer myhenry.co.uk.

Instead, the Micro comes with a more effective MicroTex filtration system that stops allergens escaping. This has been approved by the British Allergy Foundation as suitable for people with dust allergies, so it’s a great choice if you’re an allergy sufferer. Some people prefer the ability to wind the cable in and James allows you to do that. He also has a caddy in which he can nicely store away and attachments. A plugged cable means it is pretty easy to replace the mains cable. The Henry Hoover range is one of the most popular in the UK – and for good reason. Numatic vacuum cleaners are powerful, reliable and often sold for very reasonable prices. If you need a vacuum you can trust, almost any of the Henry range can do a great job (although the best option depends on your personal requirements). Detailed below are what you should look for – or what you should ask yourself – before you buy your Henry vacuum cleaner. Dust Bin Capacity The Harry has won Which? Best Buy awards for basically being brilliant. It’s good enough at removing pet hair that they give it their stamp of approval.

Success!

Henry the Hoover has become a mainstay in British households since his introduction in the early 1980s, meaning the original Henry Hoover has now been cleaning UK households and workplaces for more than fourty years. Famed for this smiling face and red colour, Henry has become a firm favourite and a vacuum of choice. Switching between wet and dry cleaning is relatively straightforward. You just need to use the float valve instead of the dry filter. A range of accessories are also included with the George. It comes with that large 9L capacity dustbin, fantastic reach, and has multiple attachments included. The Henry Eco is very similar to other 6-litre Henry models, with the key difference being an energy-efficient motor – 420W compared with 620W. Reducing the motor power helps save on energy bills, although the suction power is slightly reduced as a result. To access the bag there are two side clips that pull out to allow the top motor section to be lifted away. Then the big round filter lifts off to reveal the bag. The bag itself acts as a further filter, which means there are no little fiddly filters that need regular washing.

For people with pets in their homes both the Henry Pet and Harry would be better options than the original Henry, whilst George and Charles are also more favourable than Henry if you want a wet and dry vacuum. He offers two useful features. The first is a dual purpose hairo-brush which is fantastic for scrubbing off stubborn pet hairs and other stains, the second is a carbon filter designed to combat unpleasant smells. The MicroFresh filter activated charcoal filter will minimise the bad smells your pets can create. Everyone struggling with storage space needs to consider size limitations before they buy from the Henry vacuum cleaner range. The smaller models will work best for smaller homes – but come with less dust bin capacity. We recommend the Henry Micro for smaller homes. The largest of the Henry vacuums is the George, which is a 4-in-1… although the Charles comes close. Colour & Style

Henry Xtra

In short: no. The only differences are that the Hetty comes in a fetching pink colour scheme and has a set of eyelashes. Aside from that, the Henry and Hetty are exactly the same. The standard Henry and Hetty vacuums are great machines that will get almost any vacuum job done with little fuss, but there’s now lots of other options, some of which may be more appealing depending on what you need. Charles is designed to shine in the wet – and this is indeed where it has the edge over the competition. Having a vacuum which can clean up spillages is a major bonus. If you’ve ever had a big spill in your home or even had a problem with the plumbing you know exactly how difficult it can be to clean it up. Not with a Charles in the house. In addition to their suction capabilities, Henry Hoovers also offer a range of additional features to make cleaning even easier

There’s also a number of Henry models with their own selling points, such as the Henry Xtra – a slide upgrade on Henry due to his extra tools – Henry Allergy, Henry Wash and Henry Micro. And then there’s the wildcard Henry Cordless option, the only cord-free vacuum available from the Henry range. The Hetty Hoover wattage of 620 watts is almost half of its previous 1200 watts, and whilst a reduction of that significance sounds large, there has been no weakness in performance. If anything, Hetty seems even more powerful now thanks to changes made by Numatic to improve the machine’s efficiency.

Hetty

Hetty has a useful handle attachment, meaning you can attach the tools you need when cleaning and access them nice and easily. Some Hetty models come with an extra extension hose, which enable you to take the suction point right to the top of the stairs with Hetty sat at the bottom. Even if you don’t get the extra extension hose, Hetty already has a very long hose that is longer than most cylinder vacuums. Along with the bigger capacity, the Henry XL Plus also has more tools and accessories. These include a flexible crevice tool, hard floor nozzle, and, most importantly, the mini AiroBrush that’s great for pet hair and stairs. As you would expect from a Numatic vacuum, it’s also highly durable. Hetty never misses a spot. The Crevice Tool is perfect for those awkward spots, whilst the Dusting Tool provides appropriate levels of care to delicate surfaces like shelves, ornaments and picture frames. The Henry Professional HVR240 is the commercial version of the Henry Hoover. It includes all of Henry’s features, such as a 9-litre capacity, cable rewind system and TriTex filtration, but adds a couple of features for commercial use.
